Claire Hoffmann a fait ses études d'histoire de l'art et d'anglais à Bâle, avec des séjours à Pise et à New York. Elle a travaillé au Schaulager de Bâle, Kunsthaus Zurich et Kunsthaus Langenthal. De 2010–2018 elle s'est engagé au sein du collectif nomade curatorial "deuxpiece", réalise de nombreux projets d'exposition, e.g. à Copenhagen Contemporary (2017) ou Kunsthalle Basel (2016), et co-fonde la série de discussions "Schnittmengen" en 2018. Elle poursuit une thèse de doctorat sur Maria Lassnig et est membre de la Graduate School eikones à Bâle et reçoit 2018 une bourse de recherche à Vienne. Depuis 2019 elle est responsable des arts visuels / curatrice au Centre culturel suisse de Paris.
Claire Hoffmann studied art history and English literature in Basel, with stays in Pisa and New York. She worked for Schaulager Basel, Kunsthaus Zurich and Kunsthaus Langenthal. 2010-2018 she was involved in the nomadic curatorial collective "deuxpiece" and additionally realised exhibitions, e.g. at Copenhagen Contemporary (2017) or at Kunsthalle Basel (2016), and co-founds the talk-series "Schnittmengen" in 2018. She is currently working on her PhD project on Maria Lassnig’s drawings, and is member of the Graduate School eikones, having obytained a research stay in Vienna in 2018. Since January 2019 she is Head of Visual Arts Programming / Curator at Centre culturel suisse in Paris.
